Talking Therapies Surrey is a free NHS service offering short-term psychological therapies for a range of common mental health problems, such as:

  • Feeling low and hopeless (including during or after pregnancy)
  • Feeling stressed or worried all the time
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Difficulty recovering from coronavirus (long-covid)

You can choose from five organisations that provide this service in Surrey. They are led by accredited therapists and can offer you help in different ways depending on what works for your situation. For example, in-person therapy, a live web chat, group video call, individual telephone call or guided e-learning.

Who is this for?

The service is for anyone aged 17+ who is experiencing anxiety or depression and is registered with a GP Practice in Surrey. There is no upper age limit.

For key workers, a range of support is available for those who have coped with many challenges during the coronavirus pandemic.

Priority access is being given to military veterans and women who are pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months.
